Impetus for one loving soul
Wind all the way around
insanity of mind chased the heart.
Beauty faded,mind evaded.
The lovely mistake born.
Gave breath,gave notion,
dreamt the dreams of riches.
Gave health,gifted wealth,
emotions drowned,expectations surrenders.
Happiness measured,tears showcased,
close souls infected,heart trembles.
Still heart closed its mouth,
but whispers went noticed.
Hurts when good goes unseen,
bad written in stones.
Stings to the heart core,
makes it a black dead organ.

Dr. Khader Mangad- The Legend, the then, now and forever.
My
childhood- Intro with the “Retreat”
I still remember
those days when i used to pack bags to Dr. Khader Mangad’s
“Retreat” along with my cousins during my Onam vacations. We used to catch bus
from Mangad to Kanhangad for 8rs and from there to Padnekad for 3.50rs. I was
so small that Conductor charged only half of ticket price for me. Irony was
that i could easily stand anywhere in the bus,but now without occupying a seat
i can’t
travel in some buses. 6.3Ft is too tall i guess.
The motive behind our journey was simple, drench in the small pool in his garden, read kids story book “Balarama” until the bundle gets over, enjoy the weather and to have some awesome food made by his Wife Dr.Naseema.
Our parents were
even happier as they know that they are sending us to play with most well
versed and disciplined kids, Noufal
and Mashooda. These two proved their reputation every time by bagging averages
in 90’s
in their academics and now by becoming Doctors..Ooops!! “Masha Allah”
In short, his
family is a retrospective of knowledge, love and gratitude.
Dr. Khader
Mangad - The person.
Eventhough
Dr.Khader Mangad was termed as a strong status figure for our family,he was a
legend, the then, now and forever. I still wonder how we will payback for his ever
living legacy.
It
was a kind of habit for him to visit his sister’s home during Sundays. The love and
respect were directly proportional for him from us. It is such an eternal
exhibition of love when my Granny and her younger brother Dr.Khader Mangad
talks. I can see those pure love and affection radiating around them which even
makes our generation jealous. I still rejoice the photo snapped by me during
the “naming ceremony” of my cousin Shayaan, which consisted of his sisters, his
wife and himself. Epic shot!! Their
love was visible to whole people gathered around for the “Nehru college Onam
celebrations” at UAE. It was an yet another felicitation for him and yet
another golden feather in his hat. During his speech,i saw tears in his sisters
eyes when he started talking about his past and they were proud of their “Kayinhi”.
I
haven’t seen anyone in our family disrespecting him or
their tongue slipped when it comes to dealing with Dr.khader Mangad. It was the
pure sign of his amazing respect that he earned.
Dr.Khader
Mangad-The Public Figure.
He
may not have won those two Legislative assembly election and Loksabha election
in 1998 and 1999 respectively. But i fancy my dreams to challenge again behalf
of him. Who else came so close to the legendary Communist leader T.Govindan in
their den? Who else had enough guts to rub the shoulders again with the same
strongest opponent and came even closer? I am pretty much sure that,T.Govindan
would have had his heart in his mouth during counting of votes. Those 42% votes
he acquired during the general election was more than enough to prove his political caliber.
Lecturer
at the prestigious Nehru College, head of Teacher’s Union,Syndicate member of Kannur
Varsity,Doctorate in English Literature,Principal of Nehru College and Now to
the 9th cloud,V.C of Kannur University. This is just a quick glance at his graph.
I
was so proud that i gave a salute to the pic in the newspaper which carried the
news of his reign as Vice Chancellor. Could you even imagine, out of 39 applications
received by the committee, only the name of Khader Mangad was submitted to the
Governor. That was just a trailer of this impeccable man.
I
bet,the people involved with Kannur University will take time to adjust with
the wave length of thoughts of Dr. Khader Mangad and it was visible in the
early stages of his reign with those stupid controversies.
Hey
People,Mark this man,You can see lots of improvements in Kannur University and
i can assure you that he will get NAAC Accreditation for Kannur University and
none can stop him other than the almighty.
For
him,the distance between his dream and reality is belief, and his belief
never betrayed him, neither derailed him nor stopped him...

Graduation day speech - Abinas Bangalore,Radiance college
Honorable Chief Guest, Respected Teachers,Dear Parents and Dear Friends.
2009 was the year when
I stepped into the silent valley-the Naish College and stepped out in the year
2012 from achievers hub-the Radiance College!! It was a much needed learning
curve for me. Coming from a small village and to lay my dream was the biggest
challenge I have ever faced. But thanks to almighty I got into the Naish College
and I had a nice bunch of friends. Last 4 years in Bangalore had significant
impact on me. Life at Naish and Radiance College taught me how to compete and
respect the wisdom. I met a lot of counterparts with millions of dreams. This
is the day where so called dreamers became achievers. The biggest strength of
all achievers were belief.
Defeated 8 times in
election, Abhram Lincon, became the greatest president ever.A man who was
denied of a teaching post, Albert Einstien, made syllabus to be taught.7th
child of poor African American couple, Micheal Jackson, became the superstar of
the millennium. A boy from the slum, Pele, became the king of football. The
ball boy in 1987 cricket world cup, Sachin Tendulker, became the god of cricket.
A black kid in the white dominance, boxer Muhammed Ali, became the champion of
champions. A Woman who worked in café, JK Rowling, wrote the sensational harry
potter. A man who was denied of artist post saying that he lacks creativity, Walt
Disney, created Micky Mouse. A man who can’t move, Stephen Hawking, all set to
travel to space. An untouchable, Dr. B.R Ambedkar, touched a billion hearts. A
common man, Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, became the father of nation. Turned nothing
into a multibillion empire, Dhirubhai Ambani. A truck driver, James Cameroon, mesmerized
us with the movie avatar. A nun became the mother to all mankind, Mother
Theresa. A cancer survivor, lance Armstrong, became the cycling champion. A computer
programmer, Bill Gates, became the richest man in the world. A tribal boy, Nelson
Mandela, became the national hero.
They all were someone
just like us, until they believed that they can do more, they all had dreams
like us, but they dared to chase it down.
Who knows, may be after
some years Lalita will be known as the worlds highly paid company secretary,
Jaffer as the man who own largest pharmaceutical outlets in India, Reshmi Menon
as the girl who started the number 1 special school in India, Harmeet as the entrepreneur
who owns the largest specialized speech and hearing hospital in Asia, Stephen
as the youngest person who heads the marketing department of walmart, Sawood as
the youngest billionaire in the world, Florence as the girl who tipped Burka
Dutt to become the best media person, Lalit as the NRI business tycoon,
Sangeetha as the auditor general of India, Beula as the youngest computer programming
consultant in Microsoft, Najma as
the first Indian to head the American speech language hearing association and
Qamis as the mentor to IIM grads.
The distance between
dream and reality is “belief”. Legends are those who had belief. We are the
next legends. None of us regret that we didn’t get into the India’s top college
because we have the ability to compete with any of India’s top college. I openly
challenge. We proved it many times in many events. We are entrepreneurs , we
are the icons, we are the superstars, we are born to rule, we don’t need
conventional teaching methods because we are hungry for more, we don’t need
playground to practice to win games, but still we were the champion of
champions, we don’t need a launch pad, we don’t need huge infrastructure
neither need lectures from IIM or AIISH
nor need the spoon feeding but still we topped in university, we had Deeptis,
we have Shefalis, Shovas, Jayesh, Juliets, beulas to prove again and again. We
don’t need the strict rules and regulations because we are born disciplined, we
don’t need computers for analysis because we are the special breed who believe
in using brains and creating history, we are the one who going to be the next
legendary Lalitas, Sawoods, Sharnays, Reshmis, Sakshis, Harmeets, Ankits,
Shalinis. We don’t announce, world pronounce us. We are born, world-you better
be ready to face us because we are the students of the Naish and Radiance. I
hope everyone will chase down their dreams one day. May God bless us all.
Last but not least, I
would like to thank my Mom, who taught me how to be humble in life, Dad who
taught me how to survive, Grand dad who taught me how to respect, Teachers who
enriched me with knowledge and God who had given me opportunities. Moreover I
would like to thank everyone who tapped my shoulders, Ali, Haneef, Gaddafi,
Sawood, Qamis, Maahi, Jessi, Sonia, Lalita and rest of my friends. Like all
youngsters I do have idols in my life, firstly my uncle Dr.Khader Mangad, the
man with impeccable records in his life time, the living legend in our family
and inspirational teacher for the thousands of students, then my cousin
brothers, Shaan, who inspires me every fraction of a second and Jabi who taught
me how to live like a leader. I have absolutely no idea how to thank my
teachers, my parents, my idols, my friends. But trust me, you all will be proud
of me one day because I am the born leader who inspires people with action.
Thanks everyone and enjoy
the night!!

Review on Annayum Rasoolum
I usually don’t have experience in writing reviews for
movies. But frankly speaking writing is an automatic choice for me when I find
something really touching.
How I chose Annayum
Rasoolum instead of other movies:
Firstly,I am not a movie fanatic. It takes me atleast 3 days
to go for a good movie after it releases as I seriously consider reviews before
spending 3 hours. When I read about the positive response in FB,it took me to
youtube for trailers and I couldn’t wait for the next morning.
10:10AM:
I was just amused to see that there was none in the ticket queue.I took ticket and security opened the door to the theatre.”Fuck” was the first word came out of my mouth when I saw the people inside it.Later I realized that movie started at 10am than the usual timing of 10:30am.Resul was driving a car and was talking to his friend who was riding the bike was the scene welcomed me to the 3 hours of a realistic cinema.

My take on the movie:
Annayum Resulum says a story which many would have heard of,but
never the same kind of acting. Its worth all your money and the so called
lagging in the movie will never test your patience as Anna and Resul will blow
you with eternal love.
As name suggests,Anna was a Christian. She was working in a textile shop as a salesgirl when Resul,a muslim cab driver, fell in love with her. She was very much unhappy with her family and Resul came as a feather for her.Story goes on with troubles of a Muslim loving a Christian girl. I thought its gonna be an absolute fairy tale when the story began. But it proved me wrong that its not a new generation movie neither the Sathyan Anthikad flick nor the Shyama Prasad one. It was a complete realistic movie.

Movie does contain fights, not the usual choreographed fights,it was a realistic
one.Comedy had very little presence in this flick.Ashley,Collin and Abu justified
their roles. Fazila,Abu’s wife stood out among co-actors.
About Andrea,Fahad and Srinda:
Andrea was exceptional. She acted as if this role for her is just a walk in the park. She was a synonym of attraction. The chemistry between them was brilliant.Fahad,as usual outclassed all the young actors in mollywood. Srinda Ashab gonna fetch lot of recognition in future.Keep an eye on her.

Final words:
Loved it.For the 3 hours,I just lived. Movie taught me a lot
of good lessons and inspired me. My heart felt so lite in the first half when
Anna and Resul stood in the bridge and Resul was staring at her face and her
face was glowing and even glowed when Resul pleaded her for some more time. Her
facial expression was impeccable throughout .This scene was epic.Really touched
me.
